Welcome.

The following may be useful terms:

1) art - the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance

2) science - systematic knowledge of the physical or material world gained through observation and experimentation

3) plant - any member of the kingdom Plantae, comprising multicellular organisms that typically produce their own food from inorganic matter by the process of photosynthesis and that have more or less rigid cell walls containing cellulose, including vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, and hornworts; some classification schemes may include fungi, algae, bacteria, blue-green algae, and certain single-celled eukaryotes that have plantlike qualities, such as rigid cell walls or photosynthesis

4) poster - a placard or bill posted or intended for posting in a public place, as for advertising

Does anybody have any questions?

  1. I found one of these posters this evening. Beautiful! It is a pleasure to see the intersection of art and science, especially in a public space. I'll admit I came back later and took it down and am going to horde it for my personal enjoyment. I do hope to see more of these! I promise to leave them up in the future.

  2. So is this a project wherein you will be posting these around town? We (my co-workers and I) found one on our front door last night and took it down.

Just hoping for a little more info as it is a little obtuse right now.
